I primarily drive discovery, alignment, and design of custom solutions, integrations of third-party systems, and AI implementations. I also conduct research sessions with end users and SMEs to inform and improve system structure and user flows. Using standards and resources, I help elevate design impact and improve design operations. To assist with efficiency within other departments' processes and services, I collaborate with those departments to identify and resolve pain points. In addition, I lead design and implementation of a high-quality design system.

The majority of my role consisted of designing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes at the story and product level, while balancing consistency and innovation using two design systems. In addition, I participated in discovery sessions to understand the problems experienced by users and stakeholders. During the design process, I regularly collaborated with other roles across our software and technology division, as well as the business at large, and I often presented designs to managers and other executives within the company. I also helped mentor other designers by giving feedback and assisting with projects as needed. Lastly, I had a significant role within our UX Center of Excellence, guiding the experience team's focus on discipline alignment.

In my role, I utilized usability testing methods to evaluate application builds, communicated the findings, and provided suggestions to the development team. When needed, I created icons and designed wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for the VR and Android applications. To design effectively, I also had to research and understand best practices for VR applications.

I explored all user personas and stories in order to create design mock-ups and wireframes for web, iOS, and Android applications. I used my UX knowledge for new designs as well as when evaluating and approving features before release. To track these agile features for release, I utilized tracked using Atlassian’s Jira and Hubspot support tickets. In addition, I documented release features and daily hotfixes using Photoshop, Publisher, & Word and created and tested new customer instances.

For events, I created marketing initiatives and designed materials. To track students' activity and generate reports, I managed the GradLeaders CSO System database. I articulated Handbook policies and requirements for both student interviews and stakeholder inquiries. I also collaborated with the finance team when using funds and receiving timecards. 
Promise Indiana Intern & Assistant

2016 - 2017
For 14 Indiana communities, I designed websites reflecting the program's brand. I administered the post-program survey and recorded the results. I tracked and managed champion and savings data using spreadsheets. My secondary duties included advocating and presenting the program to stakeholders, facilitating calls with guardians, conveners, and asset managers, and participating in organizational and state board meetings.

I was an enthusiastic student who enjoyed engaging in every opportunity to learn. With a 3.82 GPA, I was also a UX lead for a research project about VR as a treatment for behavioral disorders in children. Usability testing and application design were important aspects of this position. ​In addition, I was a Teaching Assistant for a class about interaction design principles.

​I was a Dean's scholarship recipient for four years and a member of the psychology honors organization, Psi Chi, for three years. In my time at undergraduate school, I was also involved in several research projects, including the topics of recognition-induced forgetting (RIF) and employees values.
